Ms. Capelli, why flowers at the funeral?
We have a long-standing relationship with most pension recipients.
So, it seems appropriate for us to say a proper farewell when they pass away. We opted for flowers because they not only beautify the grave, but also bring comfort to the mourners.
Where do you have the flowers delivered?
The flowers are always intended for the funeral or memorial service.
To find out the details, we call the bereaved after receiving notification of the death and offer our condolences.
We find out the date and place of the funeral and whether they would prefer the flowers to be delivered to the church or directly to the grave.
Why not send the flowers directly to the bereaved?
Above all, we feel committed to the deceased. The flowers are dedicated to our deceased pensioners and are delivered exclusively to the cemetery or church.
Bouquet or arrangement - and what color? What do you choose?
We always have a large arrangement delivered because it doesn't need a vase. What's more, the floral foam inside provides the flowers with water for some time.
In terms of color, we always stick to white and blue.
White because it is the color of mourning - and white and blue because they are our company colors.
Feedback, reactions?
Relatives are mostly surprised that a pension fund sends flowers and shares in their grief.
We receive a thank-you note practically every time, sometimes even a phone call or a letter written especially for us.
That makes us happy because it shows us that our flower deliveries are highly appreciated.
Thank you very much for the interview, Ms. Capelli.
