WWF nature mission «Aare floodplain renaturation», 31 January 2026, 3074 Muri BE
The small ponds are a valuable habitat for amphibians - but for tadpoles and frogs to thrive, they need sun and light. Together, we want to create space around the ponds that have formed in recent years so that more light can reach the water and the amphibians can develop optimally. Our project area is in the idyllic floodplains along the Aare. We are looking forward to welcoming many motivated helpers who are willing to lend a hand – whether with muscle power, good spirits, or both!
Date: 31 January, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; meeting point: Barbecue area Bodenacher, 3074 Muri BE
For you: A shared lunch – because working in the fresh air makes you hungry!
Come along, lend a hand, and help us protect this special habitat. We look forward to seeing you! More details about what equipment to bring and the registration deadline can be found on the event page.

WWF nature mission «Lörmoos moorland mission», 14 February 2026, 3043 Kirchlindach
The Lörmoos above Herrenschwanden is one of the most beautiful, raised bogs in the region – a valuable habitat for rare animal and plant species. To keep it that way, we are working together: we are removing young shoots from alders, willows, and alder trees so that the bog does not become overgrown, and we are keeping small ponds open so that typical bog species continue to find a place to live. With simple tools, good spirits, and teamwork, we can make a big difference here – while enjoying the special atmosphere of this unique place.
Date: 14 February, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.; meeting point: Postbus from Bern to «Herrenschwanden-Dorf»
Included for you: a group lunch. Come along and help preserve the Lörmoos! We look forward to seeing you there. More details about what to bring and the registration deadline can be found on the event page.
