Amelia - after the American aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart. She flew higher than any other woman, was the first to cross the Atlantic and took off on a daring round-the-world flight in 1937. This proved to be her undoing. Between New Guinea and Howland Island, she suddenly disappeared without a trace. A sky-blue hydrangea for Amelia, who was only really at home in the skies.
