Swiss Flower Day
Fancy some more Swissness? September 1 is «Swiss Flower Day» - a good reason to celebrate our native flowers.
September 1 – Swiss Flower Day
Ever forgotten the world around you at the sight of a magnificent Swiss flower meadow? Or are flowers indoors a must for you too, for which you, as an environmentally conscious person, would like to see home-grown flowers? «Swiss Flower Day» has been held on September 1 since 2023. And this day shall be celebrated on the same date every year. With Swiss flowers, of course. Because in Switzerland we have many dedicated producers who grow the most beautiful flowers from February to October. The quality is first class. Not only because the transport routes are short, and the flowers reach the florist extremely fresh. But also because Swiss flower producers think ecologically when it comes to pesticides and cultivation techniques. Conclusion: treat yourself to Swiss flowers more often.
You can already find them on fleurop.ch since 2022.
Swiss Flowers – by Fleurop
When it comes to seasonality, regionality and sustainability, the number one flower delivery network is naturally at the forefront. That's why it launched bouquets and arrangements with Swiss flowers as early as 2022. One challenge was to make these available to all partner florists. But that has now been achieved. And so, Swiss tulips are offered from early spring, peonies from early summer, sunflowers in summer, and in the fall, customers are surprised with the most beautiful autumn flowers. Fleurop has created a label so that flower recipients can immediately see what makes these Swiss bouquets or arrangements so special. This is not only communicated on Fleurop.ch, but also on the flyer that comes with each bouquet and arrangement.
