Fleurop & Honey from Bee-Family

Fleurop & Honey from Bee-Family

Fleurop has been a partner of Bee-Family since 2016 and supports the keeping and preservation of healthy bee breeds in unspoiled, natural regions.
With Bee-Family, Fleurop is taking a stand against bee mortality
Bees are indispensable for the ecological balance. They pollinate around 80% of all crops and wild plants and are vital for humans. However, this is not just about supporting beekeeping, but also about ensuring that bees can collect their honey in low-pollution habitats. Fleurop has been a partner of Bee-Family since January 2016 and offers honey from Bee-Family via www.fleurop.ch and www.fleurophome.ch.
Bee-Family
For Bee-Family, the bee is the center of attention
Bee-Family is committed to protecting and preserving the honeybee and practices species-appropriate and natural interaction with the bees in its apiary. To provide the bees with the best conditions, Bee-Family includes their entire habitat and plant diversity. This is because the supply of nectar, pollen and honeydew forms the nutritional basis for a variety of insects, such as bees and wild bees. The bees process the nectar they have collected into honey, some of which can be harvested. However, sufficient honey and pollen supplies are always left with the bees. Bee-Family does not harvest bee pollen, propolis and royal jelly.
Locations of the Bee-Family bee colonies
In addition to their apiary in Frasnacht, Bee-Family maintains bee colonies in various other locations in Switzerland. The locations are carefully selected according to the diversity of the flora and the food supply and are situated in flower-rich regions of the lowlands, in natural landscapes and lake regions, as well as in the Swiss high mountains. Bee-Family prefers not to have as many bees as possible in one place, on the one hand to maintain a balance with other pollinating insects and on the other hand to have the healthiest bee colonies possible.
Honey from Bee-Family
Bee-Family honey - controlled and guaranteed residue-free
Bee-Family places great value on producing a high-quality natural product and getting the honey from the comb into the jar in an unaltered state. Every honey harvest is analyzed by certified laboratories for quality, impurities and residues. These costly analysis ensure that Bee-Family's high quality standards are met.
